How about the dirty dozen for Marian Hossa? He strikes me as a one-year deal kinda guy. 12? Not so much. See, Chicago gets a taste.. then consumes way too much.
They've always been drinking something strange in Tampa Bay. The 120 proof: Mattias Ohlman getting a 7-year deal. He'll be a grand dad when his last cheques from the Bolts bounce. God help Steve Stamkos. Once Vinny's gone it'll be up to him to keep that poor pontoon afloat.
So, Gomez, Gionta, Gill and Spacek to Montreal. The former's are skilled alright. The package, a nice, tidy fit for a place so overhyped and underwhelming. Mike Cammalleri could be something though. Toronto kid, I'm bias. Did Bob do his job? Well, if native son Vinny is all the dummies sought, it really doesn't matter what else the GM bought. The newbies should produce more than the bums who spoiled the 100th.
Who's gonna pay da bills?
As for the Buds, Colton's nice, Colby would've been nicer. Credit BB for staying true to his word by making the Leafs more difficult to play against. We think? Garnet Exelby, Colton Orr and Mike Komisarek aren't exactly softies. Now, I hope by getting "tougher" that doesn't mean the Leafs will be even tougher to watch. Would've been nice had BB mixed in a bit of skill too. There's still time. Pieces, man. It's all about the pieces. Finger's still crossed "the Monster" mashes into town. C'mon, make your decision already, Jonas.
