Big Bert to make big impact in London?

The London Pro Knights have signed Todd Bertuzzi to play for them in tonight's Eurocan cup game against Munich.

The NHL veteran who recently signed a one-year deal with the Wings told members of the Pro-Knights, over a golf game in Kitchener, that he wanted to join them in their quest to win the inaugural event. They spread the word quickly.

Bertuzzi's interest in playing in London this weekend made it easier for Pat Curcio to clear any hurdles with the Wings, NHL to bring him aboard.

Curcio and the Pro-Knights are hoping the addition of Bertuzzi will help sell tickets. We'll see tonight.
