Gotcha hooked?

Jim Balsillie,

Thanks for trying. You failed. It's over now. Well, until your next attempt that will ultimately end up like the last three. Isn't it 3 strikes and you're...?

Michael Vick,

Ya, you're a bit of a dick. Dogfighting? How neanderthal. Anyway, you're back in the game. So whatcha got? I'll be watching.

Nazem Kadri,

I think you're too good for the OHL. And it's probably the best place for you...for now.

Frank Salive,

We'll miss you. Great voice. You're the best. All the best in Florida.

Rob Atchison,

May you win Atchison/Noakes Round 1000 or whatever it's at these days. Thanks for coming on the program.

The Hook with Norman James continues Saturday, August 15th at 5:30 PM with Former Knights' Captain Danny Syvret, Rowbust Rowing president, Linda Kuska and National Jr. team swimming coach, Andrew Craven.

Danny's captained the Knights, Jr gold medallists and soon London's Eurocan Cup entry. Why can't this guy get a full time gig in the NHL? Perhaps his fortunes are about to change? We'll talk about it.

Linda Kuska leads maybe the most courageous group of athletes in the city of London. They're dragon boat racers, and that's easy part. Where they really earn their cred is though the war they've waged against that dirty, downright awful cancer. Many of the racers are personally fighting the disease. Others have survived it. All paddle in honour of those warriors who've fallen along the way. But there's also a championship to be won, and it's happening right here in town. More with Linda to come.

And Andrew Craven's in a great spot these days. He's a part of new wave, if you will, for Canadian swimming. Our recent success in the pool, both at home and aboard, is a promising sign as we push towards the 2012 Olympics where it's possible we may deliver a better showing than LA in '84. It'll be a tough task, considering the Russians didn't show up for those games. Then again, are the Russians really that deadly in the pool? Andrew Craven will talk about why Canada could be come the London Olympics.

Should be a great show... just like Friday's.
