To be Frank, he's the best

London's about to lose one of its best sports people.

Got word today that Western Fair Raceway announcer, Frank Salive is leaving to take a similar position at Isle Pompano Park in Florida.

London's loss is definitely Florida's gain.

Since arriving in town 5 years ago, Frank has been Harness Racing's biggest booster. Because of him local media coverage on the sport has reached peaks it hadn't seen in decades. It's his accessibility and willingness to talk harness racing and all of it's wonders that helped us in the broadcast world understand better and get closer to his beloved sport.

The man with 10,000 plus race calls under his belt plans to work in Ontario until the end of the month, then he's Southbound, where he'll no doubt shine as bright as the Florida sun.
