Have any? Doing a TV thing with him Friday. If there's anything you'd like to know, lemme know. I'll ask him.
He's gotta bulk up. He's gotta think pass before he gets picked. He can only control one of the two over the off-season. Wonder how he'd take to a start in the minors? Might not have any other choice, but would it sour him? We'll see...
Ask Kadri the difference between the tone from his former Ranger mates and that of the Kitchener fans during the second-round tilt. I attended Game Two and the things that Rags fans were yelling at the kid was somewhat shocking, especially considering all the youngsters at the game.
Don't let him sluff off the question with a, "Oh, the fans were really into the game." The things those fans were yelling were intensely personal and exceptionally rude; he must have had feelings.
The Rangers organization is typically classy. It's fans, not typically. I didn't get a sense from Nazem that he was particularly upset or bothered by any of the abuse he took at the Aud. If he ever was, or still is, he isn't letting on. It's sad, but he's likely heard it all before. I'll bet his superior skills coupled with his ethnicity made him a target for assholes throughout his minor hockey career. It's disgusting, I know. Thankfully, he's too cool a customer to let it fire him up in the wrong way.
