I'm going to the Memorial Cup to cover the first leg of the Spits' tournament. Hopefully Bob Bellacicco gets his chance too. He's set up to be there for the Championship game, IF Windsor's around for it? They're good enough to get there. And if Philipp Grubauer, /A\ News Athlete of the Week btw, can carry over his incredible play, it'll happen. You only get one shot to repeat. This is it for the Spits.
Only thing is... I wish I had as much enthusiasm for the trip as the Spitfires do. Things could be better for me.
Ryan Ellis will be on Da Hook Friday night.... along with Andy Fantuz, Mark Hominick and Mike In Buffalo.
