Flyers v. Hawks? I'd rather watch baseball.
Wonder how high can the Jays get? And how low their attendance will go? I'm not trying to sour the situation. The play has been refreshing. It's the focus. But I hate seeing all of those blue seats night in and night out. I mean, a 3-2 win over the best team in baseball and less than 12-grand turn out?
Is live baseball dying in Toronto?
Can it be saved? What will save it? Because the optics are awful, and at the exact same time the Jays are rolling. Weird.
Besides the crew in retirement country, is there a more promising starting 4 under 28 than Marcum, Romero, Cecil, Morrow? Marcum's the old man at 28. The others, 25 and fewer. Man, with talented young arms like that, sky's really the limit for this crew.
If only people would show up and watch these guys reach for what they're becoming, stars.
