With everything else going on in my life it's difficult to find time to blog. To even to summon up enough energy to think, write, proof, send is a challenge. Now, the Leafs bullshit over the first 20 games hasn't exactly compelled me to keep my game tight (I take after the team I follow). Really doe, my life DOES NOT revolve around the hockey team. At least not right now.
So... yeah... there, excuses a plenty.
I will however be watching with an extra keen eye at what goes down over the weekend. I mean c'mon, the Leafs are due to beat the Sabres, even in Buffalo. After that debacle in Toronto a few weeks back and their long run of futility against 'em, you have to expect a Leafs win. Plus we await redemption just when the Maple Brothers appear to be on the upswing. So, it's now or why bother in my books.
And the Sens? Who knows what their deal is? And who's to say the Leafs won't take them apart? With increased positivity and poise emanating from the net (The Monster's the Man now, folks), plus breakouts lurking from the likes of Naz, Nik, Tyler, etc. you've gotta think a decent run is on the launching pad about to be propelled forward.
Maybe it's already begun? Maybe it'll get me to get my ass in gear?
Oh, Nazem Kadri will score his first in Ottawa.
And whatever became of Phil Kessel?
