Stuck on the couch

Started feelin' crumby Sunday...been out of action since. I can say I'm in better shape than the Leafs right now, but that's not saying much. My hope is to get back in the game on Wednesday.

Coming up:

We have our AOTW. We'll go back to the high school gridiron to meet him. Here's a hint: his team won over the weekend.
--
I'm scheduled to make an appearance on Leafbuzz with Mike Augello at hockeybuzz.com tomorrow night, 7:30.
--
On the Hook Friday night, 8:00... working on something with Michael Del Zotto, plus Soccer, TFC talk with unabashed United supporter, Mike Boothman and Liverpool fanatic, Ian Clarke of rednationonline.ca.
--
Of course, I'm hoping I feel MUCH better before I can get at all this stuff. Fingers crossed.

Have I mentioned that Jonas Gustavsson will save the Leafs season?

Cue the boos

Memo to Ron Wilson and Brian Burke:

Get rid of the slackers and elevate, acquire someone, anyone who can help this team. Oh, and a question for you: how does Ryan O'Reilly make the Colorado Avalanche but Nazem Kadri and Tyler Bozak NOT make your ridiculously untalented hockey team? You wonder if it would be a bad thing to expose those guys to this mess, but as a spectator I'm purely frustrated and digging for what if's. What is for certain is that you CANNOT make the playoffs with dopes and floaters, and through 7 gruelling games it's painfully obvious that's what we're dealing with here. The worst is yet to come...unless you can figure something out. That is what you get paid for, right?

Oh, BTW congrats, Michael Del Zotto. Yeah, another Toronto guy, awesome, talented, NOT playing for Toronto. Anyway Mike, you derserve it...this great start, etc. Out from under JT's shadow, you're finally getting the recognition you deserve. We didn't give it to you in London. You'll get it in New York. I'm workin' on a London interview with MDZ.
