Craptors

Watchin' the Raptors game before I go throw...

What a piece of garbage this once promising team has become. I just wish the apologists who cover the team would admit it. Chuck and Jack are among the best out there, but neither would dare call the team out.

Anyway, the immediate problems: TJ Ford and Jamario Moon.

Ford is a baby. A talented one, but a baby none the less. He doesn't want to come off the bench and has selfishly made it known. So, the guy who should be starting (Jose Calderon) sits, while TJ recklessly runs around out there, for himself. Bryan Colangelo should deal TJ Ford in the off-season.

Jamario Moon should come off the bench too. Maybe off the roster altogether. This is a guy who was in the D-League last year, so how he's playing in the NBA ahead of players who were signed to start is beyond me? I'm sure head coach, Sam Mitchell has a decent rationale. Moon's an energy guy with wicked hops who sometimes rebounds. A project? Yes. A starter in the NBA? C'mon. Some would argue whether Jamario Moon is an NBA'er at all.

Rasho Nesterovic IS a starter. At least on a weak, underachieving team like the Raptors.

Back to the game now.. or scrimmage. NBA games usually involve defence. Its evident by their horrific slide over the past month and a bit, the Raptors either don't care or don't know how to defend.
