Tantalizing Tournament

I've never really cared much for the NCAA Tournament. Until now.

This Stephen Curry kid is something else. The Davidson (who?) Wildcats are into the Elite-8 because Curry has almost single handedly lead them there. Through 3 games, all against teams supposed to beat the tiny school from North Carolina, Curry has scored 40, 30 and then 30 more points in a hair raising performance just last night at Ford field in Detroit.

What makes this story even more compelling than just the David(son) versus Goliath concept, is that Curry is the son of former NBA sniper, former Raptor, Dell Curry. He not only looks like his old man, he can pop'em like pa too.

Even the most casual of sports fan should take notice of what's going on with this kid. We're not not only witnessing history, but the start of it. Speaking of history.. how about those Leafs?

(Excuse me, I have to puke)

Can you believe Leafs fans have to wear bags over their heads these days? Goodness!? The deterioration of this franchise, while not shocking considering the moves made the inept group at the top, is certainly depressing. Bags over the heads of fans? These people deserve better. At least a bucket or even a pillow case. At least then it might look like their planning to do something about this mess.

God bless the Leafs. And while he's at it maybe he can coerce Brian Burke to draw up a resignation letter.

Time to shoot some hoops.
