...Brian Duff of the NHL Network isn't ruling it out. He also agrees with me that another team in Toronto, and not Hamilton, would be the best thing for any future NHL relocation and/or expansion. Now time to convince the Leafs.. lol
Brian Duff knows his hockey. It was a pleasure to have him on "The Hook with Norman James".
Michael Faulds stopped by after the 9:00 pm hour on Friday's show. In his 5th and final year of Canadian University Football Mike wants to go out on top. Along the way the QB stud can break a National passing record, win a 3rd straight Yates Cup, another Mitchell Bowl and a Hec Crighton trophy. He'll definitely be in the mix for all of those, but it's stuff he may not consider enough if he can't find a way to get his team past the mighty Rouge Et Or in late November.
Even if Mike doesn't win a National Championship, he'll certainly find success in life. He's a confident, intellectual, poised individual who represents himself well...both on and off the football field.
Saturday on "The Hook with Norman James" : Don Brankley and Andrew Bucholtz.
Don will talk about his life in Jr. hockey, close to 40 years on the Knights' bench as head trainer. He's seen a lot during his time in London. It's never a bad time to pick that guy's brain.
Plus more on CIS football with Andrew. He's a major contributor to http://www.cisblog.ca/, a terrific site that covers all things Canadian University sports. I want to help raise the profile of our Canadian University athletes, something Andrew and his crew have been doing for a while now. We'll get his ideas and insights on the upcoming OUA season. Geez, it's almost here.
Stangs/Gee-Gee's tomorrow, 5PM in Ottawa. Hmmm... at home in week 1 with a new, fired up Quarteback at the helm. Can 10th ranked Ottawa pull off the upset over Western? It's not impossible.
