Anything to shut that thing up. Won't last, but it's at least worth an evening of quiet for us, and humility from them. Honestly though how can one bask in this too much when Thursday and yet another letdown lurk? I'll get excited when these guys string together something substantial. You can't do it after a loss. So once again the possibility is there.
All the best to Jonas Gustavsson. Hate to think this heart condition holds him back from what could be a long and decorated career as a Maple Leaf. All the best for sure.
Unsung hero of the night: Nik Kulemin
I was impressed with Kulemin when the Islanders were in town. I don't know how much he will finish in his career but once he gets some consistency in his game I think he can be an effective player.
