Yes, the Leafs are a whole 3 and 0. And no, no one I know (or care to) is planning the proverbial parade route. Let's give it another week or so before we begin applying for permits, eh? Honestly though, the next Leaf hater (or lover) who suggests we cordon off streets in praise of this legendary start may just wind up with their own procession.
With a loss looming, against the Rangers or maybe later, the question is: how will Leafs supporters adjust to defeat? I mean, all of this success has to make one forget, right? Well, as we appreciate the goodness we've received and the possibility for even better, let's also reflect on the misery (and there's plenty of it) not too far behind in the rear view mirror. Hey, for safety's sake let's just keep our heads on straight here. This refreshingly comfortable ride could turn bumpy, screwy, shitty in no time. What I'm saying is, hope for the best. Just don't expect the rest to be finished just yet.
