The worst player on the ice

That man is Sean Avery.

Say what you will about his sickening ability to tick off opponents, but you can't say much about the class he exudes. There's very little, if any.

Hasn't the joker finally become a joke?

I won't lie. I'd applaud an Avery rag-dolling, by whomever. It's just I don't want it coming at the expense of a game gone awry over an obsessive agenda to knock his block off. I'm not an advocate for-or-against hockey violence, I simply dislike Avery and the way he goes about his business on the ice. His game. Our game. He can act like a piece of trash. We can slam him for it. His colleagues can take care of the rest.

A win and a whooping?

That would be perfect, upping the Leafs point total while diminishing this joker's relevance. If the Rangers aren't successful, what's he really worth anyway?

9 and counting for the Maple Brothers. 84 to get. The magic number is 93.

Keep in mind, we'll be talking Leafs on the Radio Show Friday night at 8:00. I'm always looking for bloggers, fans, conversationalists to get involved. 1 866 354 8255 is the number. Phone's always on.
