Can't stand Dany Heatley or his trade demands. Guys like Andy McDonald and Pat Curcio aren't so harsh. Being closer to the life of an NHL'er (especially McDonald) both can empathize with Heatley, and believe a chance for scenery would be the best thing for everyone involved.
I ask, what message does this send, or reinforce, to players out there both pro and aspiring? Don't like things? Bitch, moan and whine and you'll get your way, I guess?
It ain't right, it ain't tight.
Anyway, thanks to Andy McDonald for his candour and openness on the issue (audio from the interview to come). Thanks to Pat Curcio for his energy and excitement. The guy is jacked up for EuroCan cup and it's infectious.
JHogan, you da man. Again, quality on the dials.
